The Global Bug Bounty & VDP Platform YesWeHack is honoured to have been selected alongside 124 emerging innovative players to integrate French Tech 2030, a program that combines the ambition of the France 2030 investment plan, led by the General Secretariat for Investment, the support of Mission French Tech and the expertise of Bpifrance.

First Class of French Tech 2030

Out of more than 840 applicants, YesWeHack is delighted to have been selected as part of the first class of French Tech 2030, alongside 124 other winners. The announcement was made this Wednesday at VivaTech, Europe’s biggest startup and tech event, by the French President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron.

“I am immensely proud and honoured that YesWeHack has been chosen to take part in the prestigious French Tech 2030 program. It is a testament to our dedication and expertise in the field of cybersecurity. This recognition reinforces our commitment to driving innovation and making a positive impact on the technology ecosystem. We look forward to collaborating closely with government departments alongside the exceptional talents within the program and contributing to the advancement of France’s technological landscape.” says Guillaume Vassault-Houlière, co-founder and CEO of YesWeHack.

An Ambitious Program to Bolster Innovation

The France 2030 investment plan, introduced in October 2021 with a budget of €54 billion, aims to bridge France’s industrial gap, invest significantly in innovative technologies, and promote the ecological transition.

The primary objective of the France 2030 plan, under the guidance of the General Secretariat for Investment, is to foster the growth and development of innovation in key strategic sectors, particularly by collaborating with emerging players.

In line with this objective and at a time of intense global competition, the French President announced his intention to support a hundred emerging entities during the announcement of the French Tech Next40/FT120 Class of 2023 in February. This initiative, driven by the State’s commitment to sovereignty, seeks to encourage risk-taking and expand market share for emerging players, and the French Tech 2030 program was established to fulfill this ambition.

Coordinated Support from Mission French Tech

As a participant in the French Tech 2030 program, YesWeHack will receive dedicated support from various government services and territories, coordinated by Mission French Tech, an organisation specialised in assisting startups and innovative companies. Mission French Tech, accountable to the Directorate General for Enterprise within the Ministry of the Economy, Finance, and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, plays a central role in supporting the growth and structure of the French startup ecosystem, both domestically and internationally.

This support will also involve the expertise of Bpifrance and all government operators (Business France, ADEME, etc.), dedicated innovation agencies (particularly the Innovation in Health Agency), the network of French Tech correspondents, prefectures and decentralised departments, and consular chambers.

In addition to financial support, YesWeHack will benefit from assistance on export-related matters, business opportunities, and strategies for global economic influence. The program will also enhance the company’s visibility, connect it with approximately sixty French Tech correspondents affiliated with the public sector, and provide an opportunity to join a group of ambitious entrepreneurs.
